The West Sound Amateur Radio Club (WSARC) is an amateur-radio, public service organization on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula in Pugetopolis (Puget Sound region, Washington, USA). We are nestled between the majestic Olympic Mountains to the west and the beautiful Cascade Range to the east. This is a great place to live and to operate amateur radio. Our members come from all over Kitsap, Mason and Pierce counties.
We are a very active group of hams. We have monthly general meetings, project meetings, and other activities throughout the year, including Field Day. We offer classes and examinations for new hams (HamCram!), and we mentor existing hams to upgrade their licenses.
We encourage you to attend our meetings. These are open to all, licensed or not. We have club members called "Elmers" who are eager to help you, from beginners to advanced hams. Please feel free to contact us at any time.
Monthly Meeting: held the 4th Saturday of the month starting at 9:00 a.m. Check the home page of our website www.N7IG.org for location.
